What you will do

• Design and build AI agents that plan, retrieve, and reason over real-world information to complete open-ended tasks.
• Develop tool interfaces and context engineering to enable frontier models to use search and other tools effectively.
• Mine and analyze usage data to continuously improve agent learning and performance.
• Own the lifecycle of new model capabilities from prototype to production-grade product features.
• Define and implement evaluations, metrics, and guardrails to ensure agent accuracy, grounding, and safety.
• Collaborate with search, ML, and product teams to align agent and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping complex production systems.
• Deep understanding of LLMs and transformer architecture.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems, including tool calling, planning, and multi-step task execution.
• Proficiency with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, DeepAgents) and tracing tools (e.g., LangSmith).
• Strong product judgment and ability to translate vague needs into reliable systems.
• Must be authorized to work in Israel.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, search, or information-retrieval systems.
• Knowledge of post-training, reinforcement learning, or fine-tuning for reasoning and tool use.
• Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or workflow engines.
• Experience with evaluation, benchmarking, or quality systems for LLM-powered products.
