What you will do

• Manage ongoing financial accounting, specifically general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
• Execute monthly closings, including provisions and accruals, and prepare annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Prepare VAT returns and other tax filings in collaboration with external tax advisors.
• Develop and optimize accounting processes within the ERP system.
• Support liquidity planning, internal reporting, and financial analyses.
• Act as the primary point of contact for banks, auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training as a tax clerk, industrial clerk, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally as a Senior or Sole Accountant.
• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and experience with monthly closings.
• Very good German and English skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Understanding of operational processes in purchasing, warehouse, and production.
