TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Military): Driving sales of resuscitation products and services into the EMEA government and military markets with an accent on distribution network management and NATO procurement. Focus on establishing strategic partnerships, managing RFIs/tenders, and achieving sales quotas in the Southern Europe region.

Location: Southern/Mediterranean Europe (Preferably Spain, Italy, or France). Requires 70% travel.

Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 + bonus

What you will do

  • Establish and support Business Partners and distribution networks to position the company as a recognized partner in the government/military market.
  • Achieve targets for sales quota, expense controls, account penetration, and business retention.
  • Develop, update, and report on an annual government/military market business development plan.
  • Collaborate with North American and EMEA teams to leverage best practices and ensure a joined-up approach to NATO.
  • Manage and direct RFIs, quotes, and tenders.
  • Utilize CRM systems to build and manage pipelines and monitor activity levels.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of field sales experience in the medical field, preferably selling capital equipment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Military service or medical training (e.g., Nurse, Paramedic, Combat Medic).
  • Proven background in distribution and channel management.
  • Knowledge of international government/military healthcare systems and procurement processes.
  • Relevant government contracting and NATO experience.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Italian or French.
  • Experience with NSPA.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
