What you will do

  • Provide expert technical guidance to customers and sales peers regarding AI infrastructure and edge services.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and workshops tailored to specific client challenges.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support technical scoping, proposal development, and solution strategy.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with technical decision-makers, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive developments to identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Enable sales representatives by enhancing their understanding of technical concepts and product features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in pre-sales, customer engineering, or solution architecture for technical products.
  • Conceptual understanding of networking (IP addressing, firewalls, SD-WAN) and satellite/cellular communication (Starlink, LTE/5G).
  • Proficiency in modular data center architectures, systems integration, and distributed computing platforms (e.g., Azure Stack Edge).
  • Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Must be willing and able to travel internationally as business needs dictate.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or Command of the Message.
  • Prior experience with MSPs, Telcos, Oil & Gas, or Utilities.
  • Knowledge of physical product sales, including logistics, supply chain, and customs requirements.
  • Understanding of Edge AI solution design and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX).
