What you will do

  • Achieve revenue targets for new and renewal recurring revenue and consulting services in the Korea region.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities for software subscriptions and associated consulting services.
  • Drive business from major Korean large customers using a "High Touch" sales motion.
  • Collaborate with regional and global resources to maximize customer success and revenue growth.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle, forecasts, and account profiles using Salesforce.com.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Korean software distributors and system integrators.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in high-touch IT solution sales specifically with Korean customers.
  • 5+ years of experience in database selling for enterprise customers.
  • Graduate degree is mandatory.
  • Experience with subscription-based models and working with system integrators and partners.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of landing new logos and maximizing customer expansion.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling Analytical DBMS.
  • Experience selling open-source software.
  • Post-graduate degree.
  • Experience in a disruptive market approach to displace older technologies.
