Credit Risk Consultant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and implement credit risk strategies, frameworks, and operating models for financial institutions.
• Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform client decision-making.
• Drive delivery of credit process optimization, asset quality reviews, and IFRS 9 impairment frameworks.
• Collaborate with client teams on regulatory compliance programs and risk governance redesigns.
• Apply expertise in credit risk transformation projects to maximize client impact.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in credit risk within financial services or management consulting.
• Proficiency in credit underwriting, PD/LGD model development, regulatory capital, or IFRS 9.
• Fluent oral and written German (C1) and English.
• Strong analytical skills in quantitative credit risk modelling and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or R and AI-assisted analytics platforms.
• Track record of delivering credit risk projects for major European banks.

Nice to have

• Experience working on or alongside regulatory bodies in a supervisory or advisory capacity.
