What you will do

• Manage digital image flow through PACS, including troubleshooting transmission errors and reconciling patient information.
• Act as a liaison between reading room radiologists and technologists to relay feedback on image quality and patient positioning.
• Provide first-line technical support for software and hardware issues related to PACS, RIS, and electronic health records (EHR).
• Review images for technical quality and correctness before they are finalized for radiologist interpretation.
• Assist in orienting new hires and training students on department-specific systems and quality control procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT (R) certification and CT, MR, US or ARDMS, ARMRIT, NMTCB credentials
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 criminal background and child abuse clearances
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, imaging modalities, and radiation safety protocols (ALARA)
• Must be based in Pennsylvania

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP)
