What you will do

• Code professional components for all diagnostic imaging modalities within the Radiology Department.
• Provide feedback, education, and training to teammates, vendors, and providers regarding clinical documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison for clarification of documentation and coding for radiological procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize physician coding practices for compliance and revenue purposes.

Requirements

• Experience coding Diagnostic Radiology and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be eligible for employment in the US (E-Verify participant).
• 2+ years of coding and abstracting experience with CPT and ICD-10 preferred.
• Certification via AHIMA (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC).
