What you will do

• Monitor highly automated equipment for harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packing processes.
• Manage general plant, field, and warehouse operations, including receiving and product return.
• Execute harvest activities such as drying, shelling, and product unloading.
• Perform warehouse tasks including forklift operation, sample collection, and pooling.
• Conduct field activities including scouting, inspection, and logistics management.
• Maintain a high standard of safety as a Safety Steward for designated programs.

Requirements

• Must have a valid US Driver’s License
• VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position
• High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated areas and diverse weather conditions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime, including nights and weekends
• Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, or Operations.
• Two years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or the agriculture industry.
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience operating agriculture equipment (plows, tractors, forklifts).
