What you will do
- Coordinate day-to-day operation planning to ensure the team meets daily production goals.
- Perform lead tasks about 50% of the time and complete hands-on manufacturing/assembly work for the remainder (adjustable based on business needs).
- Track daily production activities, monitor QDIP and KPIs, and escalate problems to the Operations Supervisor or key operational team members.
- Support scheduling and level loading using tools such as Crystal Reports and other Visual tools.
- Ensure safety policies and standard work processes are followed; monitor cell/building-specific actions and build paperwork accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement projects and assist with Failure Review Board issues as assigned.
Requirements
- US Citizen (required due to U.S. Government contractual requirements/ITAR).
- Minimum Associate Level II position for at least one year (internal candidate requirement).
- Excellent communication skills across all levels; ability to escalate issues effectively.
- Self-starter with strong organization and problem-solving skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) for daily tasks.
- Lean and 5S knowledge desired.
Nice to have
- 1+ year experience directly with the assigned operational team.
- Some customer interface experience.
- Visual business systems experience.
