TL;DR
Field Calibration Technician (Precision Measurement): Performing traceable calibrations at customer sites across multiple disciplines with an accent on technical standards, documentation, and customer service. Location: Wayne, New Jersey, United States; field travel to customer sites, including local day trips and occasional overnight assignments.
Salary: $23.46–$43.56 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do
- Perform precise calibrations according to company procedures and applicable ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, and ANZ540 standards.
- Document calibration results with complete compliance and traceability.
- Travel to customer sites, set up mobile calibration workstations, and support onsite laboratories.
- Maintain calibration standards, identify equipment issues, and keep workspaces audit-ready.
- Communicate with customers about service progress, technical needs, and scheduling.
- Participate in audits, compliance checks, 5S, Kaizen, and cross-training across calibration disciplines.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of calibration experience in a laboratory or field environment.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and related calibration standards.
- Willingness to travel locally and overnight; company-covered travel expenses are provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Active and valid driver's license required.
- U.S. person status or the ability to obtain required U.S. government export authorizations is required for ongoing employment.
Nice to have
- RF/GP calibration experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with FSM, CalWeb, or Gage tools.
- Experience across multiple calibration disciplines or in customer-facing roles supporting large accounts.
