Field Calibration Technician

Location: Wayne, New Jersey, United States. Field-based work at customer sites with local day trips and occasional overnight travel.

Salary: $23.46–$43.56 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Perform calibrations according to company procedures and standards including ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and AS9100.
• Document calibration results with complete compliance and traceability.
• Maintain calibration standards, report equipment issues, and support mobile calibration workstations and onsite labs.
• Travel to customer sites for local and overnight assignments and communicate service progress, technical requirements, and schedules.
• Work with supervisors and teammates to complete projects on time and support customer accounts.
• Participate in audits, compliance checks, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of calibration experience in a laboratory or field environment.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and related calibration standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Willingness to travel locally and overnight, with company-covered expenses.
• Active and valid driver's license.
• Must be a U.S. Person or be able to obtain the required U.S. government export authorizations for ITAR-controlled duties.

Nice to have

• RF/GP calibration experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics, FSM, CalWeb, or Gage tools.
• Experience across multiple calibration disciplines.
• Customer-facing experience or experience supporting large accounts.
