Salary: $29–$31 per hour, approximately $4,640–$4,960 per month.

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial floor and bench scales at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and support installations, projects, and repairs.
• Train end users on correct equipment operation and care.
• Document service activities, update service records, and maintain data integrity in proprietary systems.
• Coordinate with scheduling, service support, sales, and other technicians to meet uptime and response-time expectations.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, equipment, and parts inventory while identifying service or product opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a high school diploma/GED, or five years of relevant experience.
• One to three years of electro/mechanical repair or weighing industry experience; customer-facing or field service experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical repair, PC networking, and software configuration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Weights and Measures license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus the ability to learn proprietary service software.
• Must reside within the service territory and be able to travel overnight, work overtime, pass drug testing, use protective equipment, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
