What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design of high-voltage battery pack components for commercial and defense aircraft programs.
• Collaborate with CAE engineers, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on prototyping, building, and root cause support throughout the design cycle.
• Work with integration and certification teams to ensure compliance with FAA requirements.
• Establish design standards and best practices for battery design at the company.
• Mentor early-career battery design engineers and develop the hardware technology roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in high-voltage battery design for automotive or aerospace.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in structural design, materials, heat transfer, and fluids.
• Solid background in CAD (NX preferred), tolerance stack analysis, and 2D drafting with GD&T.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes for both prototypes and mass production.
• Must have valid US work authorization as no visa sponsorship is available.
