- Lead architecture decisions for EO sensors supporting LEO, GEO, and cislunar missions.
- Design and integrate electronics including FPGAs, microcontrollers, low-noise ADC/DAC systems, and VPX systems at CCA and module level.
- Develop payload designs integrating motor controllers, processing units, imagers, and cryptographic devices.
- Perform schematic capture and PCBA layout using Altium Designer, and plan design verification and system integration testing.
- Lead environmental qualification, failure analysis, production support, design reviews, supplier collaboration, and technical mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or another engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of electrical hardware design experience and the ability to develop blank-sheet design concepts.
- Experience with PCBA design using FPGAs.
- Knowledge of processors, FPGAs, switch-mode power supplies, communication interfaces, and analog instrumentation.
- Strong analog electronics design background and proficiency with SPICE and Excel for circuit analysis.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements; work on U.S. office programs is subject to ITAR eligibility requirements.
Nice to have
