Company

Develops satellite-based navigational intelligence and high-precision positioning infrastructure for devices worldwide.

What you will do

  • Own the architecture and detailed design of high-voltage power electronics units for satellite propulsion systems.
  • Design isolated DC-DC converters and control electronics for regulation, sequencing, telemetry, and fault protection.
  • Perform electrical, thermal, and radiation analysis for space-environment requirements.
  • Lead schematic capture, collaborate on PCB layout, and troubleshoot hardware from breadboard through spacecraft integration.
  • Develop and execute qualification, acceptance, and verification tests for engineering and flight hardware.
  • Drive component qualification, design-for-manufacturability efforts, requirements, interface documents, and production transition.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience designing power electronics from concept through hardware bring-up and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of switched-mode power conversion, isolated DC-DC topologies, and closed-loop control.
  • Experience with high-voltage or high-power electronics and schematic capture and PCB design tools.
  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams and work onsite in Burlingame, California.
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or another protected-individual status is required for this U.S. role under space-technology export regulations.

Nice to have

  • Spacecraft power conditioning or other high-reliability hardware experience.
  • Knowledge of radiation effects, radiation-tolerant components, magnetics, EMI/EMC mitigation, and nonlinear high-voltage loads.
  • Familiarity with NASA, MIL-STD, or ECSS standards and qualification processes.
  • Experience with hardware integration, environmental testing, embedded control, or firmware for power electronics.

Culture & Benefits

  • Equity is included in the compensation package.
  • Commitment to diversity and an inclusive workplace.
  • Equal consideration for qualified applicants regardless of legally protected characteristics.
