What you will do

• Own the integrated hybrid powertrain verification process.
• Verify turboshaft/turbogenerator systems, including batteries and motors, through rigorous testing.
• Manage turbogenerator verification on test-benches and during flight test campaigns.
• Contribute expert test and operation knowledge to turbogenerator design reviews.
• Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure safe and timely verification.
• Ensure all verification activities adhere to safety standards.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in a related scientific or engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in complex system verification.
• Strong fundamentals in systems engineering.
• Experience with industry-standard tools for turbine or electrical systems.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with eVTOLs, hybrid-electric aircraft, or hybrid automotive powertrains.
• Experience with turboshafts, turbines, and turbogenerators.
• Familiarity with FAA or EASA certification.
• Knowledge of simulation model validation and uncertainty quantification.
