What you will do

• Lead the design and development of aircraft structural systems and components from concept to production release.
• Create and manage 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Siemens NX.
• Perform weight and balance analyses to support design decisions and system integration.
• Design metallic and composite structures, including tanks and mounts.
• Coordinate with stress, certification, and systems engineering teams to ensure design intent.
• Manage configuration control and release processes using PLM tools like Teamcenter.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in structural design within aerospace or aircraft programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX for 3D modeling and assembly design.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and aerospace engineering drawing standards.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter.

Nice to have

• Experience with aircraft fluid systems, tanks, or containment structures.
• Exposure to weight and balance analysis.
• Familiarity with FAA or EASA certification processes.
• Background in Special Missions or military aircraft programs.
