What you will do

• Build and mentor a team of electrical engineers focused on BMS and CCU hardware development.
• Guide architectural decisions and drive new hardware concepts to maturity.
• Lead engineering design reviews and manage the release of flight hardware.
• Oversee hardware analysis projects (WCCA, FMEA, PSSA) to support safe flight and certification.
• Manage technical engagements with suppliers, partners, and certification authorities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams during NPI and production ramp.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical system design for EV, aerospace, or high-reliability applications.
• 3+ years of demonstrated people management experience.
• Deep expertise in high voltage battery systems and BMS electronics.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Strong technical communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• HV battery design experience in both aerospace and automotive contexts.
• Experience with certification standards such as DO-254, DO-160, AC 20-152A, ARP4754, or ISO 26262.
• Experience with new product development in regulated industries (aviation, medical devices).
