Salary: $170,000 - $220,000

What you will do
- Build and mentor a team of electrical engineers focused on BMS and CCU hardware development.
- Guide architectural decisions and drive new hardware concepts to maturity.
- Lead engineering design reviews and manage the release of flight hardware.
- Oversee hardware analysis projects (WCCA, FMEA, PSSA) to support safe flight and certification.
- Manage technical engagements with suppliers, partners, and certification authorities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams during NPI and production ramp.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical system design for EV, aerospace, or high-reliability applications.
- 3+ years of demonstrated people management experience.
- Deep expertise in high voltage battery systems and BMS electronics.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Strong technical communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- HV battery design experience in both aerospace and automotive contexts.
- Experience with certification standards such as DO-254, DO-160, AC 20-152A, ARP4754, or ISO 26262.
- Experience with new product development in regulated industries (aviation, medical devices).
