What you will do

• Characterize and validate battery pack electrical and thermal performance, including Auxiliary Power System behavior.
• Collaborate with battery test, design, BMS, system, quality, and manufacturing engineers.
• Develop and automate test cases using LabVIEW and/or CANalyzer.
• Define Design Validation Plan procedures, instrumentation, data acquisition, and post-processing methods.
• Build test stations, author test cases, document results, and support issue resolution.
• Contribute data and validation support to BMS software development and design-change decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Previous hands-on laboratory experience, including work around high voltage, hand tools, wiring fabrication, and test-setup debugging.
• Experience with thermocouples, pressure transducers, shunts, oscilloscopes, and other instrumentation.
• Working knowledge of batteries, AC/DC fundamentals, and power conversion.
• Experience with Python or Matlab for coding and data analysis.
• Strong technical writing skills for test reports and documentation.
