What you will do

• Process semi-monthly US payroll for 1,000+ employees across 38+ states using ADP WorkforceNow.
• Perform month-end, fiscal year-end, and calendar year-end reconciliations for 401k, benefits, and equity awards.
• Manage multi-state and multi-jurisdiction tax withholding, garnishments, and annual audits.
• Design and implement internal control measures and periodic reviews for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Prepare and key payroll-related journal entries and provide ad-hoc reporting for Finance, Legal, and People Operations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in a payroll function, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of experience processing payroll using ADP WorkforceNow.
• Proven experience with multi-state payrolls for over 1,000 exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Deep knowledge of state and federal employment laws and payroll regulations.
• Unable to provide work visa sponsorship at the present time.
