Focus on analyzing supplier constraints, improving performance through QBRs and action plans, and coordinating procurement, planning, engineering, logistics, PMO, and quality teams.

Location: San Jose, California, United States

Base pay range: $146,00–$175,000 per year

What you will do

  • Own day-to-day supplier execution from purchase order release through delivery.
  • Accelerate critical material deliveries and develop recovery plans for delayed or at-risk parts.
  • Analyze supplier lead times and production capacity, identify constraints, and drive improvement plans.
  • Assess supply chain risks across quality, delivery, capacity, and logistics and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Track supplier KPIs, including on-time delivery, lead time adherence, capacity utilization, and purchase price variance.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with key suppliers and coordinate priorities with procurement, planning, engineering, logistics, PMO, and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, supplier management, or operations.
  • Strong expertise in supplier execution management, recovery planning, capacity analysis, and lead time analysis.
  • Experience tracking and reporting purchase price variance and supply chain KPIs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data visualization tools; ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and dynamic environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • APICS certification.
