What you will do

• Lead structural assembly and integration processes, including prototype and production sequencing.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of structural component builds, ensuring manufacturability and compliance.
• Develop tooling strategies and fixtures for prototype builds, balancing precision with low-volume program needs.
• Serve as the primary shop floor subject matter expert for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Liaise with Design, Quality, and Certification teams to align materials and processes with certification objectives.
• Mentor manufacturing engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, specifically in assembly and integration.
• Proven track record of applying DFM principles to complex assemblies.
• Expertise in CAD, PLM, and MES tools.
• Ability to interpret Model Based Definition and GD&T callouts.
• Must have valid US work authorization (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with NX, Teamcenter, or SAP.
• Part 23 Certification experience.
• Background in eVTOL aircraft development.
