Salary: $167,000 – $230,000

What you will do
- Design build and installation processes for mechanical, electromechanical, and avionics assemblies.
- Conduct design for excellence (DFx) reviews to evaluate producibility, cost, and quality.
- Collaborate with design and certification teams to embed manufacturability and risk mitigation into product development.
- Develop and maintain quality management systems, work instructions, and engineering change orders.
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain production schedules and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, design, or testing.
- 2+ years of experience with CAD and PLM software (e.g., Altium, NX, Teamcenter).
- Must be a U.S. person or otherwise permitted to access export-controlled technology under U.S. law.
- Ability to work onsite in Mountain View, CA.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Nice to have
- Experience with R&D or New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100 or 14 CFR Part 21/145.
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Background in troubleshooting and operating complex hardware in safety-critical environments.
