What you will do

• Collaborate with design engineers to influence satellite designs for manufacturability, testability, and integration.
• Plan and document detailed assembly and test sequences for satellite components and electro-mechanical systems.
• Manage comprehensive assembly procedures and work instructions in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Identify and specify requirements for assembly aids, jigs, fixtures, and custom tooling.
• Work hands-on with technicians to ensure process compliance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for process-related anomalies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with PLM and MES software tools.
• Must be a U.S. person or eligible for export authorization (ITAR/EAR compliance).

Nice to have

• Experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with satellite or spacecraft integration and test.
• Experience with CAD tools for mechanical, electrical, and wire harness design.
