What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and launch of advanced manufacturing lines for Battery Pack and Module production.
• Scale production processes from prototype builds through high-volume series manufacturing.
• Own manufacturing stations, including process development, controls, operator training, and driving Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements.
• Develop manufacturing workflows, tooling, and ergonomic solutions using Lean and 5S methodologies.
• Drive process capability and quality performance through PFMEA, statistical process control, and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with 2+ years directly supporting EV battery module or pack manufacturing.
• Deep expertise in adhesive dispensing, cell testing, potting, pick-and-place automation, and high-voltage electrical testing.
• Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (DMAIC), APQP, PFMEA, and GD&T.
• Proficiency with CAD, PLM, MES, ERP systems, and data tools like SQL or Python.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship is available.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting aerospace or other highly regulated advanced manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations (FAR Part 23, Part 21, or Production Certificate requirements).
• Experience with automation-intensive manufacturing lines or advanced production ramp activities.
