What you will do

• Design and deploy manufacturing lines for Battery Modules/Packs from prototype through series production.
• Define build sequences, process flows, and develop applicable manufacturing process solutions.
• Manage equipment specifications, RFQs, FAT/SAT, and oversee onsite installation and validation.
• Optimize MES configurations, including shop floor routings, process parameters, and data collection.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction using 5S methodology and OEE metrics.
• Support operations through PFMEA, root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why), and Material Review Board participation.

Requirements

• BS or MS Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in EV battery module/pack manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with prototype and high-volume manufacturing and Capex projects.
• Proficiency in SPC, GD&T, lean manufacturing, and data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, or Python.
• Knowledge of Safety Standards (ANSI/RIA15.06, OSHA) and proficiency in CAD, PLM, MES, and ERP software.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with thermoplastic part joining (e.g., ultrasonic welding).
• Knowledge of aviation battery certification requirements (DO-311A, DO-160, RTCA).
• Experience with FAR 23, Part 21, and FAA Production Certification.
• Experience with aviation-grade traceability and configuration management.
