What you will do

• Develop and execute functional test strategies for aircraft systems from prototype builds through early production.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Flight Test teams to define test requirements and coverage.
• Develop and implement automated test solutions to improve quality, repeatability, and throughput.
• Execute functional testing in lab environments and on-aircraft during integration cycles.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and perform root-cause analysis for corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with FAA regulations and aerospace quality standards throughout testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in aerospace or complex system test and manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing of electrical and software-integrated systems.
• Proficiency with test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting for test automation and troubleshooting.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting type certification, STC, or PMA processes.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Experience in fast-paced aerospace startups or eVTOL environments.
• Leadership or mentorship experience guiding junior engineers.
