TL;DR
Engineering Trainer (PLM/CAD): Designing and delivering training programs for PLM, CAD, and configuration management tools to enable engineering teams in an aerospace environment with an accent on Teamcenter and NX workflows. Salary: $122,880 - $153,600

What you will do
- Deliver onboarding and specialized training for PLM (Teamcenter) and CAD (NX) tools.
- Design and maintain role-based learning paths and structured training modules for designers and support teams.
- Teach CAD principles, modeling strategies, and Model-Based Definition (MBD/MBE) workflows.
- Develop and manage training materials including guides, videos, and Confluence documentation.
- Collaborate with Configuration Management and Product Lifecycle Engineering to support tool upgrades and process rollouts.
- Monitor adoption trends and gather user feedback to continuously improve training content.
Requirements
- Practical experience as a design engineer, CAD specialist, or drafter creating production-ready CAD.
- Proficiency in training users on CAD systems (NX, CATIA, CREO) and PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia).
- Experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD) and Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) workflows.
- Ability to model complex components, including surfacing-driven geometry and Wave Linking.
- Strong understanding of engineering change processes, including Change Requests and Change Notices.
- Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
Nice to have
- Hands-on expertise in Siemens Teamcenter (BOM management, data structures).
- Experience with composite modeling workflows in CPD or Fibersim.
- Background in aerospace, automotive, or other complex engineering environments.
- Experience facilitating working groups to define organizational standards and best practices.
