What you will do

• Own and maintain powertrain BOM structures, component configurations, assemblies, and sub-assemblies in the PLM system.
• Define hardware effectivity by aircraft serial number, block change, date, and program milestone.
• Maintain configuration traceability between powertrain items and the aircraft-level BOM.
• Establish configuration baselines for design, development, testing, and production.
• Coordinate engineering change implementation with powertrain engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, including cut-in points, parts disposition, retrofit, and forward-fit requirements.
• Conduct configuration audits, maintain status accounting reports, and resolve BOM discrepancies, effectivity conflicts, and PLM data integrity issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of configuration management experience in an aerospace or automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment.
• Hands-on experience managing hardware BOMs and product structures in a PLM system such as Teamcenter, Windchill, or Enovia.
• Understanding of unit-, serial-number-, and date-based effectivity methods.
• Experience coordinating engineering changes across supply chain and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CR, CN, ECO, and ECN processes from initiation through release and closure.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation, with strong cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• EV or hybrid powertrain development experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace configuration management standards and certification processes, including ARP4754.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, CMII, EIA-649, agile or model-based development, and hardware development from prototype through production release.
• US Person status for work involving ITAR-controlled hardware.
