What you will do

• Verify and validate safety-critical software components for platform software according to DO-178C standards.
• Design and document comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures derived from software requirements.
• Execute Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing for platform algorithms and drivers.
• Identify and track software defects, collaborating with developers to analyze root causes and verify fixes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using C/C++ and Python.
• Design tests for software fault detection and diagnostic algorithms, including sensor anomalies and component failures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in embedded software verification and validation.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for code analysis and Python for test automation.
• Experience with safety-critical standards such as DO-178C, ISO 26262, or ASIL (DAL-A/B or ASIL C/D).
• Hands-on experience with the Full Software Verification Life Cycle and requirement traceability.
• Experience testing communication protocols (CAN, RS-422/485, ARINC-429, SPI, I2C, Ethernet) and working with RTOS.
• Proficiency with hardware debugging tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
