Project Geologist

What you will do

• Lead drilling oversight, soil and rock sampling, and groundwater monitoring efforts in the field.
• Prepare and review geological maps, cross-sections, and detailed technical reports.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets for multiple small to medium-sized projects.
• Ensure all field activities adhere to Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and environmental regulations.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate multidisciplinary project team activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Geology or related discipline.
• Tennessee Professional Geologist (PG) registration required.
• 3-7 years of applicable professional experience.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork involving heavy lifting.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
• Previous experience in environmental consulting.
