What you will do

• Support field investigations, assessments, and monitoring programs across biological and environmental projects.
• Perform routine ground/surface water and soil sampling using industry-standard methods.
• Execute thorough field documentation, including safety tailgates, field logs, and chain of custodies.
• Operate and maintain field equipment such as organic vapor detectors, GPS units, and water quality instrumentation.
• Oversee environmental drilling operations, including monitoring well installation and abandonment.
• Assist in writing environmental and biological reports to interpret field and desktop study results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in geology, hydrology, environmental science, engineering, or a relevant field.
• 1–5 years of related experience in environmental data collection.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain military base passes or security clearance.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
• Proficiency or ability to learn technical software such as ArcGIS and Rockworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
