What you will do

• Build reusable connector frameworks including authentication, circuit breaking, and idempotency logic.
• Design mapping logic to transform inconsistent enterprise data into strongly-typed canonical entities.
• Implement synchronization strategies with watermark management to ensure system recovery and data integrity.
• Develop infrastructure for storing raw API responses to enable data replayability and evolution.
• Optimize high-volume synchronization processes, focusing on PostgreSQL performance and concurrent fetching.
• Define and monitor observability metrics for throughput, data drift, and error rates.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend engineering building distributed systems in production.
• Proficiency in Go or similar languages with strong typing and concurrency.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with data integrity patterns like idempotent systems and dead-letter queues.
• Must be authorized to work in the US as the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
• Experience deploying and managing services in AWS or similar cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building custom integration frameworks or working with complex ERP/HR APIs like SAP or Workday.
• Understanding of event-driven patterns such as Kafka or CDC.
• Experience structuring data for downstream AI/LLM services.
