What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems using Go, focusing on reliability and efficiency.
• Own end-to-end architecture, including service decomposition, data modeling, and API design.
• Drive performance optimization across services (CPU, memory, I/O) and identify bottlenecks using profiling tools.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, including distributed system failures and latency spikes.
• Build and operate systems leveraging Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and caching layers (Redis/Valkey).
• Manage services in containerized environments using Docker orchestrated via Kubernetes or HashiStack.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Strong programming expertise in Go, specifically concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking stack, and performance diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or HashiStack (Nomad, Consul, Vault).
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka) and databases (PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis).
• Must be based in the US; this position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
