What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems from initial design through production.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring reliable technical execution and delivery.
• Optimize system architecture for scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build solutions that meet customer needs.
• Identify risks and resolve complex production issues to improve observability and resilience.
• Mentor engineering team members and promote technical excellence through code reviews and pair programming.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Minimum 6+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern backend programming languages, with a specific focus on Golang.
• Experience designing and managing distributed systems on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with HashiCorp products (Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Consul, etc.).
• Prior experience in cloud platform engineering teams.
