Salary: $172,800 - $216,000 per year

What you will do

  • Recruit and lead the Airframe team, providing coaching, mentoring, and career development.
  • Manage performance reviews and coordinate resource allocation to meet program objectives.
  • Drive advanced composite design concepts and manufacturing processes for eVTOL aircraft.
  • Evaluate new materials and design methodologies to contribute to intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and partners on composite solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with stringent aviation certification standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science required.
  • 10+ years of experience in composite structures design and analysis.
  • 3+ years of management or team leadership experience.
  • Experience with aircraft certification processes (Part 23, 27, or 25).
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
  • Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred) and FEA tools (Nastran preferred).

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Experience with eVTOL, rotorcraft, or urban air mobility systems.
  • Knowledge of electric aircraft systems and integration challenges.
