Senior Engineer - Water Resources

Location: Tampa or Orlando, Florida. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of water resources professionals and support staff.
• Manage project delivery and meet client expectations.
• Perform water resources assessments and analyze and interpret water and environmental resources data.
• Develop and review hydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic, and physical habitat models.
• Prepare and review scientific reports.
• Prepare and present proposals and marketing plans, and participate in relevant professional organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering, Geology with a hydrogeology focus, or a similar hydro science discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Professional registration as an engineer, geologist, or hydrologist.
• Project delivery experience in the hydrology and hydraulics of rivers, aquifers, lakes, or estuaries.
• Understanding of Florida’s environmental-flow regulatory framework, including Minimum Flows and Levels, Total Maximum Daily Loads, and Basin Management Action Plans.
• Working knowledge of HEC software, SWMM, ICPR, SEFA, and statistical tools such as R, SPSS, or Excel. US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
