Senior Sediment Remediation Engineer

Location: Remote or based in one of hirify.global' offices across the United States

Salary: Minimum $120,000 per year, negotiable based on location, skills, certifications, and other position and candidate factors.

What you will do

• Design and implement sediment investigation scopes of work and work plans.
• Develop and manage RI/FS and PDI investigation campaigns.
• Design sediment remediation solutions for complex CERCLA and state-equivalent sites.
• Collaborate with sediment investigation and remediation experts, clients, and business development teams.
• Contribute to the growth of the Sediment Remediation Services group.

Requirements

• Licensed professional engineer with a degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of experience providing sediment remediation engineering and related services on large, complex sediment sites.
• Experience serving as engineer-of-record on multiple CERCLA or state-equivalent sediment remediation design projects.
• Extensive experience with dredge design, cap design, in-situ remediation methods, and dredged material management.
• Established client relationships, strong communication skills, and the ability to generate new business.
• Commitment to mentoring and supervising staff, workplace safety, and the effective use of software and advanced digital tools.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience working across multiple states and with multiple clients.
• Established professional reputation, including conference presentations or participation in relevant work groups.
