Location: Wilmington, Delaware; preferred within the Northeast Area, including New England, New York, and the Mid-Atlantic, with flexibility across office locations.
Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and licensing status.

What you will do
- Identify, track, and evaluate federal, state, and regional funding programs for municipal planning and infrastructure projects.
- Develop grant strategies connected to comprehensive, transportation, stormwater, watershed, resilience, and capital improvement plans.
- Lead or support grant applications, including narratives, benefit-cost framing, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with planners, engineers, environmental scientists, and government market leaders to create funding-ready scopes and integrated service offerings.
- Support pursuit strategy, proposal development, and positioning for funded public-sector programs.
- Engage municipalities, agencies, and partners while maintaining resources that track funding programs, deadlines, and awarded grants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience with public-sector funding, grants, or government programs.
- Experience supporting or leading grant applications for municipal or infrastructure-related projects.
- Strong writing and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical planning concepts into clear funding narratives.
- Familiarity with municipal planning processes and infrastructure programs.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and support multiple pursuits simultaneously.
