Location: Must be based in the Eastern US
Salary: $135,000 - $180,000 per year

What you will do
- Identify, segment, and prioritize regional payer access opportunities across commercial and Medicaid managed care organizations.
- Build and expand relationships with payer medical directors, contracting executives, and network leadership.
- Develop and execute payer engagement strategies from initial outreach through coverage and implementation.
- Influence favorable medical policy and reimbursement positioning by presenting clinical evidence and health economic data.
- Lead strategic discussions regarding payer contracting, in-network access, and reimbursement pathways.
- Partner with sales, clinical, and executive leadership to translate payer dynamics into actionable commercial strategy.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Eastern US
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in medical device commercial sales, strategic healthcare account management, or payer market access.
- Demonstrated success influencing commercial payer access outcomes, including medical policy and reimbursement pathways.
- Proven ability to independently develop and manage relationships with payer stakeholders.
- Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Nice to have
- Medical device or healthcare commercial sales background with direct payer-facing responsibilities.
- Existing commercial payer relationships within the assigned geography.
- Experience operating within emerging or evolving reimbursement categories.
- Growth-stage or startup healthcare experience.
- Experience in vascular, venous, lymphedema, wound care, or cardiology markets.
