What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop AI solutions.
• Model business and engineering problems using machine learning and feature engineering.
• Deploy AI capabilities and track projects through completion.
• Apply machine learning and software engineering best practices.
• Create knowledge materials and teach best practices to other AI/data science teams.

Requirements

• US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science (or related) with at least 5 years of professional experience; or Master’s with 3 years.
• Significant experience applying machine learning to business problems (NLP, deep learning, anomaly detection, reinforcement learning).
• Programming experience with Python, TypeScript, or compiled languages (e.g., C++, Go).
• Experience developing software and applying software engineering best practices.
• Ability to communicate business needs and the value of AI models effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), including containerizing and deploying AI/ML models.
• Experience leading teams of researchers and engineers.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning Python libraries (Gymnasium, rllib, Stable Baselines, RL Coach).
• Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating models/agents/prototypes for real-world AI.
