What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end AI lifecycle, from initial ideation and architectural design to production deployment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, product managers, and IT professionals to translate clinical needs into technical specifications.
• Guide the development of foundation models, vision encoders, and multimodal architectures for clinical use.
• Establish rigorous evaluation methodologies, performance metrics, and interpretability techniques for AI systems.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, consistent, and compliant AI software releases.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to junior engineers and the broader AI enablement team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (no visa sponsorship or transfer available).
• Master’s degree with 9+ years or Bachelor’s degree with 11+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML.
• Extensive experience applying AI/ML in production healthcare or highly regulated industries.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and cloud infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of healthcare domain standards, clinical workflows, and data privacy regulations.
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
