Business Analyst

TL;DR

Business Analyst: Supporting a government agency by analyzing and documenting requirements for system applications with an accent on interoperability and data exchange. Focus on translating complex business needs into technical specifications within an Agile environment.

Location: Must be based in the United States (100% remote position, requires Public Trust Clearance).

Salary: $95,000–$120,000

What you will do

• Analyze and document mission support workflows and business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements for interconnected systems.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development and implementation teams.
• Manage project documentation including BRDs, use cases, and process flows.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining scenarios and validating solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• Hands-on experience with the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL and database queries for healthcare data analysis.
• Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
