Business Analyst (SQL)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (SQL/French): Analyzing business requirements and performing data analysis for international tech clients with an accent on SQL queries and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on implementing Agile and Waterfall methodologies and creating data visualizations to drive business decisions.

Location: Hybrid: 2 times a week in the Lisbon office. Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Write complex SQL queries to perform effective data analysis.
• Apply business analysis frameworks, specifically Agile and Waterfall, to project workflows.
• Develop data visualizations to present insights to stakeholders.
• Act as a consultant for various partners across the tech industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis.
• Fluency in French (minimum B2 level) and strong proficiency in English.
• Must have Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
