What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams in the development and validation of electronic and mechanical packaging.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis, including shock and vibration testing.
• Create mechanical models and drawings using CAD tools.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability and industry standards.
• Document technical information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
• US Citizenship is required to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Proficiency with CAD modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods.
• Ability to work on-site or in a hybrid capacity in McLeansville, NC.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Ansys for thermal, CFD, and structural analysis.
• Experience with Creo for 3D/2D design and layout.
• Experience with small form factor, high-power electromechanical elements.
• Background in high-pressure applications and sealing technologies.
