Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Salary: $75,000–$110,000 Annually

What you will do

• Lead the design process for new product development of military and commercial actuation equipment.
• Create engineering calculations, design reports, CAD models, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, program management, and quality assurance.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and support project reviews.
• Support on-site and off-site qualification testing to ensure hardware meets stringent requirements.
• Exercise logical engineering judgment to ensure designs satisfy all stakeholder interests before production.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical system analysis, hydraulic design, and GD&T standards.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling.
