What you will do

• Prepare supplies and PPE, access daily schedules, and travel to patients’ homes using a personal vehicle.
• Collect patient information and perform preventative and diagnostic services (including phlebotomy/specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs).
• Use mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps for care coordination.
• Label collected samples correctly and coordinate drop-off to the appropriate lab or shipment facility.
• Provide compassionate, patient-friendly care and maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Valid state-required licensure and/or proof of training; national certification where state licensure is not required.
• Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Technologically savvy; comfortable using mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and/or in a team.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and ability to physically access homes (including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds).
