What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain high-quality blood specimens.
• Verify patient identification and test requisitions to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and adhering to isolation procedures.
• Manage the logistical printing of patient reports and triage billing inquiries.
• Coordinate specimen pickups and shipments with courier services like FedEx or Medspeed.
• Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in strict compliance with HIPAA and security regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certificate where required by State law.
• Must be based in Joplin, MO.
