Salary: $15.25–$19.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process medical record release requests accurately using proprietary software.
• Travel to various client locations in the Pittsburgh area to provide onsite coverage.
• Interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations to ensure correct data handling.
• Resolve HIPAA-related release issues and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Provide professional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with training and mentoring new associates to ensure process consistency.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Pittsburgh, PA.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid insurance for travel to client sites.
• At least 4 years of experience in a healthcare setting with medical records.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations regarding Protected Health Information.
• Ability to pass all required background checks, drug screenings, and health screenings.
• Proficiency with desktop computers, scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• RHIT certification.
