What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks while maintaining specimen integrity via aseptic techniques.
• Manage the operational aspects of the Patient Service Center (PSC), including vendor management and scheduling.
• Oversee the phlebotomy program and report KPIs to product management leadership on a biweekly basis.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification to ensure accuracy and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment in compliance with legal and JCAHO standards.
• Handle the onboarding, training, and retraining of phlebotomists to support volume growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• 5+ years of high-level customer care experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy License/Certification must be provided if required by state law.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of supplies.
• Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy and security training within 30 days of hire.

Nice to have

• BS/BA degree.
• Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams.
• Previous financial and budgetary experience.
• Bilingual language skills.
